College Parents of America is the nation’s only membership organization of future and current college parents. Its mission is to help parents understand, prepare for, protect and maximize their family’s college investment. Founded in 1997 by Doug Laughlin, the organization has served more than 100,000 subscribers and members. College Parents of America operates as a tax-paying non-profit / non-stock corporation for the benefit of its members. The organization is also responsible for the Center for Student Health & Life (CSHAL), tax-exempt 501(c)(3) entity. In 2010, the organization re-launched its paid membership program with new exclusive benefits including new scholarship programs, personalized content, Tuition Refund Insurance and Identity Theft and Resolution Services. |
